If you live, work or are otherwise near a pump station and it looks to be failing, you will likely notice flashing lights and active alarms at the facility. You may also notice sewage running out of a pump station site. If any of these are taking place at or near a pump station, please contact 504-271-1681 as soon as possible and provide as much information about the situation, including the location and any indicators that the pump station may currently be failing, at which point the Parish Department of Environmental Services will dispatch a crew to address the issue.
